When you’re creating a targeted audience in Facebook Ads, do you find yourself picking random interests/likes/demographics to bring the numbers down from ‘many millions’ to something a bit more manageable for your needs and marketing budget!?
This tip will help you to make sure you are targeting the right people for your purpose. It’s a great way of using interest based audiences to get super close to your target customer.
It’s a quick tip that I’m always surprised more people don’t do – or don’t know how to do. Only a couple of minutes watch on video, this is simple to do and easy to follow.
Most importantly, it’s a really good way of using the detailed targeting function to give you the best out of your Facebook Ads budget and to make sure you’re using audience building to fit exactly what you want.
I’m showing you on screen in Ads Manager on the video, just click below to watch – this will save you a LOT of time and money. And it’s super simple to do.
This tip is to show you just how big a difference detailed targeting can make when you use it well!
Before we start though, this is not a ‘perfect audience size’ tutorial (that’s probably one for a whole other video blog!), but it most definitely is an example that shows how you can drill down your audience in to one that is precise, focused and is going to help you make the most of your budget.
I wouldn’t always recommend you use an audience of this size – audience size depends on all sorts of variables including your objective, your budget, the stage of your sales funnel, what your call to action is, the overall purpose of your advert and so on.
I’d love to know if you’ve found this helpful – pop me a comment and let me know. If you know people who’d find this tip helpful, a share would be much appreciated.
