This business supports families preparing children for private school entrance exams, offering small-group programmes, assessments, and guided enrolment. Their service is premium, trust-led, and very decision-heavy — which meant their ads needed to feel credible, calm, and considered.
Not pushy.
Not loud.
No “book now before midnight” energy.
When this client came to me, the ads were working but were emotionally missing the mark.
Parents weren’t just searching for “tutoring near me.” They were trying to figure out whether they were making the right long-term decision for their child.
Google was capturing high-intent searches, while Meta was driving early-stage awareness — but both platforms were sending people into the same conversion-heavy entry point.
The ads focused heavily on subjects, syllabus, and what the business did rather than confidence, interviews, and how children perform under pressure — the things parents actually worry about.
My aim was to find the business serious enquiries rather than price being the main consideration. The ad campaigns needed to reflect premium quality and move away from a price-focused strategy.
They business wanted to attract considered, high-intent parents rather than casual browsers. They also wanted to position their programme as expert-led and long-term, rather than a quick fix.
Google Ads focused on capturing active demand from parents already searching for exam preparation and private school support.
Meta Ads handled education and reassurance — introducing the teaching approach, experience, and outcomes before asking for a consultation.
We shifted the focus from “what your child will learn” and "value for money" to longer-term investment in “how your child will think, respond, and perform under pressure.”
Video and long-form ads warmed parents up before inviting them into a conversation, rather than pushing straight to an enquiry form.
If your service relies on credibility and long-term outcomes, Meta and Google ads should quietly work together to support the same decision journey.

Higher-quality enquiries
Fewer casual sign-ups, more parents arriving ready to talk about readiness, fit, and next steps
Stronger premium positioning
The programme started to feel like a considered educational pathway, not just another tutoring option.

Clearer performance conversations
Meta and Google performance was reviewed based on enquiry quality and consultation outcomes — not just clicks and cost per lead.
